BitGo Launches Research Arm, Names Greg Cipolaro Head of Research

Digital asset infrastructure firm BitGo (NYSE: BTGO) launched a dedicated research unit on September 24 and named Greg Cipolaro, the former global head of research at NYDIG, to run it.

The new function, BitGo Research, will publish market commentary, thematic reports, and data-driven analysis for the company’s institutional clients, BitGo said in an announcement.

Founded in 2013, BitGo provides custody, wallets, staking, trading, financing, stablecoins, and settlement services to thousands of institutions.

A familiar face from NYDIG Cipolaro joins BitGo following the company’s recent acquisition of NYDIG’s institutional trading business, where he served as global head of research and built a research franchise recognized for its coverage of bitcoin and digital asset markets.
