The exchange cited a request from the BounceBit foundation as the reason for the service interruption. Details of the Suspension According to an official notice from Bithumb, the halt applies to both deposits and withdrawals of BB tokens.

The suspension is scheduled to begin precisely at 2:55 a.m. UTC, which corresponds to 11:55 a.m. Korean Standard Time. The exchange did not specify the expected duration of the pause, but similar maintenance or network upgrade events typically last a few hours.

Bithumb advised users to complete any pending BB transactions before the cutoff time to avoid delays. The exchange also noted that trading of BB on its platform may continue during the suspension, but transfers in and out of the exchange will be unavailable.
