Crypto Spot Volume Jumps 19% to $510 Billion in August, Biggest Monthly Gain of 2026
Spot trading volume across major crypto exchanges climbed 19% in August to $510.4 billion. The gain outpaced a 15.9% rise in derivatives volume and marked the biggest monthly increase of 2026. The rebound followed July’s trough of $429 billion, the weakest month of the year.
