Grant Cardone Borrows Against Real Estate to Buy Bitcoin
Grant Cardone has spent years telling investors that real estate is the only asset class where debt works in your favor.
The latest version of that argument puts Bitcoin in the same collateral box, not as a payment rail or inflation hedge, but as a way to keep assets un-sold while still accessing capital.
According to the original report from WuBlockchain, Cardone told DraperTV on August 8 that Bitcoin is “real estate without the tenants or property taxes.” The comment captures how some high-net-worth investors now categorize the asset: no cash flow, but also no maintenance, no tenant risk, and no local property tax bill.
The strategy Cardone describes is essentially a refinance loop. In real estate, rising rents can support a new loan every seven years or so.
