Kospi Falls Below 5,600 in Record Back-to-Back Circuit Breaker as Bitcoin Rises Above $64,000

South Korea’s Kospi index triggered a market-wide circuit breaker for the second consecutive time today, tumbling to an intraday low of 5,532.33 after opening more than 1% higher. Bitcoin (BTC), by contrast, climbed 1% above $64,000 even as Korea’s chip-stock selloff deepened.
