MoonPay Adds Kamino Lending to Its AI-Powered PayBox on Solana

MoonPay has added Solana lending protocol Kamino to its PayBox product, allowing eligible users to lend assets or borrow against collateral through conversations with ChatGPT or Claude.

The integration announced on August 27 extends PayBox beyond payments, swaps and bridging into collateralized decentralized finance.

AI instructions replace the usual lending interface Users can instruct the AI interface to supply tokens to Kamino in pursuit of yield or borrow USDC against collateral already placed in the protocol. The integration does not create a new loan product.

Instead, it provides a conversational route into Kamino’s existing markets and transaction flow. MoonPay said users can require passkey approval for every transaction or permit the AI agent to operate within preset limits.
