Phantom Drops Sui Support on Sept. 24: What SUI Holders Need to Do Before the Deadline

Wallet provider Phantom announced that it would be sunsetting Sui support from 24 September 2026, less than 20 months after announcing its integration with the project.

This means that Sui balances cannot be viewed, tokens cannot be sent or swapped, and Sui DApps cannot be accessed via Phantom’s interface from that date onward.

It does not affect SUI ownership or other assets on the network, which remain on chain in Sui blockchain and in the respective wallet, and are still controlled by the respective recovery phrase or private key.

Phantom did not provide any technical, security, or commercial reasoning for the removal of the integration, and there was no network breach. Sui was the first Move programming language blockchain to have native support on Phantom.
