Lee highlighted that ETH, alongside Bitcoin (BTC) and Solana (SOL), have been the three strongest assets in the current quarter, with Ethereum leading the pack. Lee noted that Ethereum has outperformed the S&P 500 by a striking 5,430 basis points so far in the third quarter.

He also emphasized that cryptocurrencies as a whole have significantly outpaced other major asset classes during this period, a trend he believes is laying the groundwork for increased institutional participation in the digital asset space.

Bitmine’s Growing Ethereum Treasury In a separate development, Bitmine disclosed that it purchased an additional 53,501 ETH over the past week, increasing its total holdings to 5,901,112 ETH.
